ERIK ELLINGTON

Watch part 1 - Watch part 2 - Watch part 3

Erik_in_front_of_tv Erik is all around the coolest person I have ever met. The way he looks, the way he skates, the way he pushes--he's just a straight-up cool man. I remember meeting him on the first Baker tour. Jay Strickland, Scotty Copalman, Trainwreck, Knox Godoy, as well as all the people that still skate for Baker were on that trip. It was a mess. It was like the heyday of the Pissdrunx. I couldn't sleep because we put 15 people in 3 hotel rooms and you never knew when Erik or Trainwreck were going to wake you up to fight you. It was really kind of scary.   But anyway, as much of a pile that Erik seems like from a distance (or when he's drunk), he's actually a very smart and thoughtful person. Did you know he invented the Hand Board? It's like a giant finger board that Tech Deck makes and every time Toys R Us sells one of those stupid things dude gets a dollar. He's secretly pretty shrewd. Right now he's got a sunglasses company and owns part of Supra Shoes.... seriously, he's a darkman in disguise. In the end though, it all comes back to skateboarding, and Erik is first and foremost an incredible skateboarder, carving his own niche in a crowded world. Any time a video comes out with new Ellington footage, I'm glued to the screen.

ellington's cool. strait up ill personality, and nice guy. we met in miami, said if i was out in cali to give him a shout, most dudes forget you soon as they leave town, but he remembered me and let me stay at the emansion with his girl and regan, we spent christmas together that year, met slash (guns and roses) at the mall, skated a bit, shit was dope. much love and respect to mr. ellington

i love animals. i love to play with them in the nature scene and i love to chop them up and grill them up and eat them. i respect and love animals and i eat them every day. its that simple.

Seriously awesome... getting better each time...cannot wait for part 2 & 3!

That old footage is great. Ellington was a prodigy doing Rodney Mullen type stuff. Can't wait for the rest, you guys; great work as always.

O'Dell, what have we done to deserve a three parter? I have some shit going on right now and might be facing a month or more in jail and this show is seriously one of the only things that keeps me going. Thanks man. 100% skater for life!!

I love how dude comes up on some "Why are you on my fucking hill?" type shit and Ellington grins it, "I just bought the house right here."

Movin' on up!

everyone has a story but erik's seems to grab our attention like his skating, we all have this in us and thats a lesson in itself. very imporant to have friends and family, and for everyone to understand were everyone is coming from. skateboarding is soul!

Skateboarding is the best thing ever invented. Fuck sliced bread.

how many times do i click on a vbs vid only for it to load the wrong one? maybe 1 in 10. get it together, dorks.

ps, epicly later'd is great

The Ellington part 3 link is later'd!

It links to a Coors Light ad and then Fred Gall.

I've been following your photo blog for years, and found vbs.tv through there.

vbs.tv is great, and Epicly Later'd is, in my opinion, the best skate content out there right now.

Tell someone to fix the link please.

Best wishes and keep up the good work Patrick.

EPicly laterd rules... but Vice sucks

part 3 links to a slaughterhouse that feeds calf blood to children of our lord jesus christ and ships free porterhouse to any leather clad fur loving U S of American. this some kind of joke?

I seen this guy and remember the best guns n´roses days. the G´N´R music inspirate my skate session and this guy is the essencial of rock roll skateboard. regards my friend! care too my brazilian friends there.

This show is so down to earth and cool, I love it. Let´s the people shine, not just by showing their ill tricks.

thanks
