I first met Daewon the day I was filming the Alex Olson episode. I saw him and Daniel Castillo from across the Girl skatepark and was kinda fanning out in my head a little bit. Then Alex yells over, "Do an episode on Daewon!" and they all start laughing. I was sure they were making fun of me. But then Daewon flips the script and starts making fun of Alex like, "How are you gonna have an Epicly Later'd? So far it's been all established guys like Hosoi, Gonz, Dustin... dudes that have all paid their dues, and now you?" I couldn't believe that Daewon actually even watched the show. It was mind blowing.

So then fast forward a few months, I hit up Daewon and he happily took me around to all these amazing LA skate spots. It was so awesome, and I kept thinking it's so strange driving around with these skaters who seemed to be from a whole other and far cooler world when I was 15 and watching them in Love Child in a basement in Ohio. Seriously a Surreal experience.

PS: I want to apologize if I pronounced Daniel Castillo's name wrong in the intro.

PPS: How do you pronounce Steve Caballero? If it's "Cabayerro" I'm gonna shit.

hey man i'll be honest i wasnt really feelin the daewn episodes till part 4.. it totally made the rest worth it. i feel like every episode honor'd the skater it was about and didnt get that from the first 3 parts, then part 4 hit me like a ton of bricks.. i like your style..

Daewon callin' Rodney out at the end of part 4 !!!! OH SHIT !!!!!! I wonder if he can get Mullen to do some technical transition for his Globe part ? I thought this vid was slick because I didn't know all that history to some of that stuff and him, it was good. Keep it up ! The Cardiel parts are sweet too !
