Part of the beauty of Johnny Ryan's brand of humor is that it can be highjacked from the comic world and turned against any subject you can think of (even the Holocaust). Here's a little Monday morning conundrum though: Does reducing something as nerdy as Star Trek: The Next Generation (which is already the nerd equivalent of regular Star Trek) to a bunch of shit-and-cum-laden one-panel screeds in the Angry Youth style make one more or less of a nerd? You are blasting an often literal load across the crew of the Enterprise's collective face but at the same time, you have to have the details pretty down pat if it's going to work.

-Actually I never heard of Johnny Ryan until after a friend of mine read my comics and then told me about him. I'm more of a frank miller fan and Moebius is god. Yes, I am a dork but I live in seattle where dorks are embraced by the community and can still get laid.
