BONGIN' OUT
Done prangin' out, Mike Skinner has announced a homemade bong-making contest where the fan who designs the best bong will get to toke it with him on stage (is he mental?). Also hitting the hookah pipe are Turbo Fruits, a sideproject of the guys in Be Your Own Pet. In advance of their show at the Old Blue Last on August 22, they are offering fans the chance to win a high-tech hot-air vaporiser dubbed "the BMW of bongs." All you have to do is count how many times the word "Volcano" is said in the Turbo Fruits song "Volcano." They say it a lot.

ohh, nice? be your own pet smokes weed now? remember at bonnaroo in 2006 (played before the jicks and sonic youth) when the chick kept saying something like, don't be a stupid stoner/loser/fucktard like the guy standing next to you, smoking weed... cause it's BAD FOR THE WORLD? maybe that's why the guys started turbo fruits? i wonder if she doesn't fuck either?
