LONDON - HEY ZINESTERS!

Punks Is Hippies hankers after the days of stapled-together, Xeroxed zines that the emergence of blogs has blighted. It's a place where scans of punk and hardcore zines from around the world are posted as PDF downloads. The blog is named after a song by the Japanese band G.I.S.M., who were famously unpredictable (they once stabbed a fan for wearing a bootleg T-shirt). So although we're not sure how they will react to this site, we think it's great and asked the guys behind it to pick out five favourites...
