The second night at Webster Hall with CSS started off on a sour note. (You can read about the first night here.) Alexis and I got into a shouting match over who would get to wear a wedding dress on stage.
Thank God Carla was there to talk some sense into both of us. She suggested we get high. We smoked two joints with her and by the time it was all said and done we had both forgotten who we were. Problem solved.
A lot of our friends came out for this show so we decided to cut our set down to two songs so we could focus on getting fucked up. Just joking! We would never do that because we take our careers in the music biz very seriously, OK?
OMG! Time for some girl talk. First topic: Teen suicide!

After the show we went to see my friend Zachary DJ. He's definitely one of the cutest boys in NYC! We walked in and when he spotted me in the crowd he cut off the music and recited a poem he'd written for me over the club's booming system. I think it went something like this:
It's so early in the morning and you still haven't taken off your face
What if the sun forgets to shine?
What if the stars tonight...

If we don't find a way...

Later that night i met some dude with olive skin and a nice jaw line (I think his name was Justin). He told me he was good at math so I went home with him. We spent the next day watching Beaches together. Before I left to meet up with the SSION crew I ate everything in his fridge.
We played Ruff Club last January and it was one of our best shows so I was excited to play there again. Before we went on stage Sophia Lamar introduced us as the "best band they could afford," which was oddly touching.
Ruff club was e-mazing as usual!!!!
Hung out with Casey Spooner, who was having more blonde ambition than myself. We went for an egg nog milkshake from McDonald's after the show. My treat! After Casey and I parted ways, the dancers and I went to the Cock to celebrate our heritage. Alexis took some amazing photos, which I was going to post on this blog but then he traded his camera for some poppers. Oh well, I don't really blame him.
