SEATTLE - HI I'M A CRAZY GAY BASHER AND I AM ACTUALLY HELPING YOUR CAUSE
Some idiot in Seattle sent insane letters to 11 gay bars around town warning them that he was going to target five patrons at each establishment and kill them with a decent dose of poison. "Doctors will initially mistake the symptoms for violent stomach flu; but organ failure occurring so quickly will make them think otherwise," the letter reads. "Naturally, there is no antidote, no salve for their unimaginable pain." All right! It's about time someone had some balls about bashing gays again. The Prop 8 outrage was starting to fizzle out. Day Without a Gay was lame and did nothing. But now that this freak was loud about his hatred it'll only heighten the reminder of how totally fucked this quiet business of denying homos the same rights offered to every single heterosexual couple in the country in the name of "oh, you know, that's just how it's done and check with God if you don't believe me." So thanks, lunatic! That gang of fuckwads who raped a lesbian the other day did their part too, but you get the trophy for successfully making gays look like a downtrodden minority again. People in this country go all bleeding heart for that kind of shit. Click on down to read the dipshit's whole letter.

don't call me the mentalist, but something about that letter sounds like someone that didn't grow up in america. i think the "in hospital" part in particular. fucking sicko.

We are having a pub crawl each Saturday this month to support every bar this letter was sent to.

ha. day without a gay was a pretty massive failure. dumb idea to begin with.

no mention of the lord's will? is this a non-religious gay hater?

hate violence. should it be punished more stiffly than normal violence? to me, it doesn't matter what led to the attack/rape/murder/etc. a violent crime is a violent crime and i think they should be punished identically. i know others disagree. discuss.

he just wants to hurt the businesses. if he was really going to do anything he wouldn't have sent the warning letters.

This would have been so much better if he sent in videotapes of himself, complete with a black hood, threatening to poison the cities water supply or blow up the ocean or something.

yeah, that or decapitating himself

Um, can you say SCAM people? Oh, let's have a pub crawl to support all these poor businesses that got a form letter from some crazy right-wing nutball with British diction who's nice enough to warn all his potential victims before attacking them. This, like most nonviolent hate crimes, was most likely perpetrated by a very gay member of the seattle gay community who's upset about prop 8 getting passed in California (read: a different fucking state).

yeah, i'm sure the bars that are the supposed targets are going to put out fake letters warning people that they might be poisoned if they drink there. fucking genius marketing scheme. you are retarded.

@ Bogus: Yeah, California is a different state from Seattle, as it is from the 48 others we got here. The Prop 8 madness is not only about wanting it to be re-legal to get married in one state, it's outrage over it not being legal for gays to get legally married basically anywhere in this country. It's not just about the betrothing, it's about, say, having the rights to keep your own fucking property after your spouse dies so it doesn't get turned over to a family estate. A written will won't always ensure that. Or about getting to visit your partner in the hospital, or whatever. It's the same thing as one court case setting a precedent for law.

@Bogus. Agreed with prop str8 and anon.... you are retarded.

I didn't say the bars themselves did it. I think it was a fuming gaybo who believes that by making it look like those awful straights are out to start an anti-queer gassing campaign across the Puget Sound he'll generate breeder sympathy/guilt for his ilk. Look at the Columbia University noose case, look at the hispanic kid with the secret anti-spic knife threats, and if you think this is coming from an ideological place, look at that simpering McCain girl who etched the backward B on her cheek. Threats of violence that, by their nature, totally preclude any sort of fulfillment are extremely suspicious coming from supposed irrational hatemongers. Basically you'd have to be the most retarded would-be terrorist anglophile the northwest has ever seen to send out these letters in one of the most gay-friendly parts of the country and not anticipate this response. A real fagbasher would have just sent the ricin. And he would have said "THE hospital."

How gay do I have to be to get a day off work? Pole smoker or import car owner?
Posted by: | 08/01/2009 at 05:03
Hard to believe you fags are missing this entirely. The letter was written by a smart gay person trying to help your "cause" intentionally.
Where I live, we had patrons at a gay bar go out and slash their own tires to get a similar, albeit smaller, effect.

why warn anyone about it? now everyone will be extra cautious.
