Look what happens when you give a band a good review and then someone who used to be in a band with one of them mentions them later in an interview? They make you a killer mix for your blog. Silk Flowers have a record coming out soon on PPM, some live tracks from which you can listen to here but until then, busy yourselves with this manic collage they made us. And if that's not enough Silk Flowers collaging for you, Avi made a detached but super weird zine of his transposition skills, which you can get by following instructions on the band's blog. Samples and mix below...
Here's what you're listening to:
The Bonniwell Music Machine – Absolutely Positively
Agnostic Front – With Time
The Blast Rocks!!! – Willy McCarne
The Chimes – Once in A While
The Congos – Can’t Come In
Magazine – In the Dark
Human League – Do or Die
Nocturnal Projections – Nerve Ends in Power Lines
Jan & Dean – Here Comes the Rain
Troyton Rami – Bad Dog Riddim
Alice Cooper – Beautiful Flyaway
The Cake – Medieval Love
Kiss – Love Theme From Kiss

Bonniwell Music Machine! Someone knows their shit. Thanks.
that is the most scattered, bizarre mix I have ever heard. Its the kind of mix that you would find on an unmarked CD sitting in your car and listen to it nonstop for the entire summer, but have no idea where it came from or what the songs are
I hav been wandering online since the past couple of hours and accidentally came to your blog post..Just admiring the way you conclude your post:*********** Look what happens when you give a band a good review and then someone who used to be in a band.... *********
Can polysilk flowers be submerged in water without losing its color?
I am getting married and for my centerpieces I want flowers submerged in water with a floating candle, but I want to use fake flowers so that I can save some money. I saw an ad on ebay for POLY SILK flowers and I don't know much about them. Can they be submerged in water with out losing their color?
the polysilk flowers wont lose its color in the water as long as you wont submerged for more than 24hours or as long as you dont put harsh soap in the water.
Questions about the upkeep of silk flowers and artificial flowers are always welcome and we love to advice at our website: http://www.withycombefair.co.uk.
Nice Playlist, I like all the songs and of course the artworks are really good, I found their facebook page (I don't really use myspace) and add them, thanks for the suggestion :)
Please one more post about that.I wonder how you got so good. This is really a fascinating blog, lots of stuff that I can get into. One thing I just want to say is that your Blog is so perfect
