We over here at VICE were recently reminiscing about the first time we met 120 Days. We were all at a BBQ on a roof and we hung out, ate Mexican, drank beers and smoked a lot of cigarettes. The fellas were about to play some shows before CMJ, had recently released their first self-titled record and had no idea that less than a year later, they'd have 2 Norwegian Grammy Awards and the accolades of some of the most prestigious publications in the States. They were just eating plantains and trying to understand why some of us were really into knowing what the baseball score was.
As we anxiously await what 120 Days comes up with on their new record, they give us the Sedated Times EP. Out on Tuesday, it's 7 tracks of tranced-out, head-bobbing, dance-inducing deliciousness. If you saw them on any of their shirtless tour dates, you heard "So This Is Suicide," and very likely heard this jam, "Justine."
